Super 8 Hotels joins Beijing Olymipic service term

BEIJING, Jan. 21- Super 8 Hotels (China) Co. Ltd. has been appointed by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad and the Beijing Tourism Bureau as a member of the "Beijing Olympic Village Accommodation Service Management Team."

Super 8 Hotels (China) will manage nine apartment buildings, three resident service centers and two service facilities within the Olympic Village during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, to be held Aug. 8 to 24.

"Super 8 is very proud to support the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and provide Clean & Friendly service to Olympics guests, which is the hallmark of the Super 8 brand worldwide," Mitchell A. Presnick, chairman and CEO of Super 8 Hotels (China) said.

Super Hotels (China) 8, one of the world's largest economy lodging franchise operators, opened its first hotel in Beijing in 2004. By December 31, 2007, the company had 65 hotels open across China.
