The Berlin International Film Festival opens on Feb 7, Chinese actress Shu Qi joins the jury group, together with German production designer Uli Hanisch, Russian producer Alexander Rodnyansky, German actress Diane Kruger and US sound designer Walter Murch.
Directed by Oscar-winning American director Martin Scorsese, Shine A Light is the first of about 400 films from around the world to be shown during the festival. Scorsese and members of the Stones will be on hand in the German capital.
The festival continues for 11 days, and is drawing a host of Hollywood celebrities, like Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson. U.S. pop star Madonna will be unveiling her directorial debut film, Filth and Wisdom.
